CAROLINA BARON BIZA

b.   Argentina          1973

Carolina Baron Biza began her development in 1990 at the Romulo Raggio Museum. In 1992 to 1994 she studied in the Fine Arts Stimulus Association, Buenos Aires. In 2001 she graduated  from the University of Buenos Aires Design School. Between 2003 and 2010 she studied painting with different well known teachers.   From 2003 until half of 2005 with Diana Aisenberg and from 2008 until 2010 with Juan Astica.

Published Works

In 2009, a drawing for a Poster Contest " Illustrations for tales Mujica Lainez " published in the book "The characters of Manuel Mujica Lainez ". In 2011, two paintings were accepted as art covers for  the books " The danger of underestimating risks associated with the consumption of contaminated food" by Prof. Dr.Alcides Troncoso and Isabella Garcia Moreno and " Food infections " by Prof. Dr. Alcides Troncoso  in collaboration with Ms. Nora Bar.

2018 Painting"Ensayo de luz", acrylic on canvas, 107 x 172 cm. is the cover for  " Investigación sobre la geografía médica de la triquinosis" by Roberto Raúl Hirsch and Alcides R. Troncoso. Beloukia Ediciones.

Individual Exhibition

Within individual exhibits should be highlighted in 2004 at the Headquarters of the Contentious Administrative Court of the City of Buenos Aires. From 2005 to 2010, her work was placed on permanent display at Therafarma Laboratories Headquarters, Buenos Aires. Additonal individual pieces have been exhibited in 2007 in  Tuñon, Buenos Aires. In 2009 in Cemic Medical Center, Buenos Aires.

Collective Exhibitions 

Among the group exhibitions are mention in 2005, at the Banana Factory, Buenos Aires.

2006 in  Braque Gallery and The Casal de Catalunya, both in Buenos Aires .

In 2010 Gallery Nights, Carlos Regazzoni Atelier, Buenos Aires.

In 2012, esteemed curator, Melissa Boratyn, invited Carolina as part of a group exhibit at Espacio Godoy, Buenos Aires.

Her works were permanently exhibited at LA MERSA ART, Buenos Aires, until July 2014 when the artist relocated to Miami.

In 2015, paintings were exhibited in  Commenoz Gallery, Miami.

2016, Yacht Club Argentino, Buenos Aires.

2017 Commenoz Gallery, Miami. With Eugenio Cuttica among others.

2018 Commenoz Gallery, Miami.

2018 Pre Art Basel, Artist Studio Gallery, Wynwood, Miami.

Carolina's current work is present in private collections in Argentina , Uruguay, Bologna, Oslo, Mexico DF, Miami and London.
